Claudia Marcelo, D.O., AOBFP Functional and Regenerative Medicine Consultant

Our Approach

Dr. Marcelo is committed to helping patients achieve optimal healing: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Her patient-centered, and not disease-centered approach recognizes the following:

  • The body has an innate ability to heal.
  • Understanding and addressing root causes can prevent or reverse chronic disease.
  • The health of future generations depends on how we act today.

Core Values:

Our Goals

Our Vision: The widespread adoption of a healthcare model that prevents illness, reverses the global pandemic of chronic disease, and optimizes longevity.

Our Mission: Health begins with a journey that reveals the Divine within. Tapping into this energy is how ordinary people do the uncommon and experience true healing. Illness and disease thrive in a body programmed with pro-inflammatory vocabulary from past or current experiences. My mission is to offer people an opportunity to learn vital health information that generates anti-inflammatory vocabulary and transforms how they think and feel. A magical new consciousness emerges when someone understands that they can change their health by changing themselves.

Our Hope: To equip people with the courage and tools to take charge of their health so they can be happy and healthy.

Our Wish: Health for everyone to fulfill their life’s purpose.

Personal Healing

Claudia's Journey

Dr. Claudia Marcelo D.O. founded Panacea Biomedical Institute as a new way of practicing medicine. A practice to treat the ailments she struggled with when conventional medicine failed her. A decade ago, Claudia experienced a debilitating chronic illness and was frustrated at the lack of solutions until functional medicine provided the missing link.

Claudia Marcelo, DO is board-certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies from the University of Chicago, and later graduated from NYIT’s New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then finished a Family Practice Residency and Geriatric Fellowship at Florida Hospital (now Advent Health) in Orlando. Personal health challenges while completing medical school motivated her to seek an alternative model of health. She chose the path of functional medicine as a patient before becoming a functional and regenerative physician years later.

Dr. Claudia received functional medicine training via the Institute for Functional Medicine, The American Academy of Anti-Aging, and The Kalish Institute. She has received stem cell training from the prestigious Institute of Regenerative Medicine in Spain (Medicina Regenerativa Madrid), and has been certified by Train Now MD in regenerative and cosmetic medicine. She has traveled for private mentorships worldwide to receive extra training in various modalities: neural therapy, peptides, bio-identical hormones, ozone, PRP, photomodulation, PEMF, hyperbaric oxygen, nutrition, IV therapies, quantum healings, and much more.  Her current foundational approach is based on European Biological Medicine which allows a deeper understanding of levels of imbalance that can predispose a patient to experience illness.

Dr. Claudia believes and teaches her patients that the connection with nature, self, nutritious foods, healing herbs, a supportive lifestyle, positive thinking, and love are the greatest remedies for the body, mind, and soul.

In her words, “My mission is to provide a roadmap for people to navigate their health challenges in a new context: one that allows them to understand the root cause and empower them to address the physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual aspects of the disease.”

When not seeing patients, Dr. Claudia can spend time with her family, reading, studying, meditating,  and exercising. Her passion is traveling and seeing the beauty of our planet in its multiple facets.
